The Agawam Fire Department was represented by members of both the Call and Career forces at the Tune by Tune Car show held at Sarat Ford on Sunday August 15th. Call Force members brought Engine 3 while the Career force brought Truck 1 and Rescue 2.

Call Firefighter Marc Pereira has been hired as a fulltime firefighter/paramedic by the Agawam Fire Department. Marc joined the call force in December of 2007. Call Firefighter Matt Niles has been hired by Belchertown Fire Department as 1 of the 4 first fulltime firefighter/medics. Matt started in Agawam as a explorer and has been on the call force since 2006.
